The DuPage County Historical Museum is open seven days a week year-round.
Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 4pm
The museum will be closed on the following days in 2011:

We are located at the corner of Main and Wesley Streets in downtown Wheaton, one
block north of the Metra railroad tracks and near the Wheaton Public
Library.

Driving Directions
from Roosevelt Rd. (Rt. 38)
Turn north on Main Street in Wheaton and continue past the train tracks. The first
stoplight after the tracks is Wesley. Street parking is available on Wesley or
Main. Please keep in mind Wesley is a one way street going West.
from North Ave. (IL. 64)
Turn south on Gary Ave. Proceed past Geneva Rd. and Jewel Rd. Head left onto W.
Harrison past Gary Ct. and turn right onto N. West Street. Turn left on W. Union
Ave. go past Memorial Park and turn right onto Main Street in Wheaton. Turn left at
Seminary and right at the next stop which is Cross St. Take another right at the
next corner, Wesley. Parking is located on Wesley and Main.
from Naperville Road
Take Naperville Rd. north past Roosevelt (Rt. 38). Turn left at Illinois St. and
right at Cross Street. Stay on Cross over the railroad tracks and turn left on
Wesley (first stop sign after railroad tracks). Parking is located on Wesley and
Main streets.
from I-88
Heading east on I-88 take the N. Farnsworth Ave. Exit. Turn right at Butterfield
Rd. (IL-56). Next left is at Winfield Rd. and a right at Roosevelt Rd. (Rt. 38).
Turn left at S. West Street and right at W. Front Street. Take a left at N. Cross
Street and a Left onto Wesley. Parking is located on Wesley and Main Street.
from Rt. 59
Exit at Roosevelt Rd. (Rt. 38). Turn left at S. West Street, right at S. Front
Street and Left at N. Cross Street. A final Left onto Wesley and parking is on
Wesley and Main streets.
Parking
Street parking is available on both Wesley and Main Street for visitors for a limited amount of time. In addition, there are 2 public lots available in Wheaton, both less than a half-mile walk. The first is located on Wesley Street approximately 1 block west of the Museum between Main and Hale Street. The other option is the Wheaton Place Parking Garage which is located on Front Street between Wheaton Ave and Hale Street. Parking is free at both locations.
