Get the inside scoop on the Land of Lincoln legends and their inventions during this Attuned event. Did you know the tape recorder, electronic keyboard, Tinker Toys, ball bearing roller skates, vacuum cleaner, and the zipper were all invented in Illinois? Be inspired by Terry Lynch’s innovative stories about Illinois Inventors. Prior to Terry’s presentation, delight in the company of your friends, tasty treats, and frosty beverages while listening to the inspiring music of classic rock being played on the harp by local DuPage resident, Amy Lee. Known for her work with WLS-TV, WMAQ, CNN, and “To Tell the Truth,” Amy brings a unique twist on modern day music to the celestial sounds of the harp. Enjoy Amy’s exploration of music by the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Sting. Don’t miss your opportunity to also explore the Museum after hours and enjoy the beautiful Early Illinois Folk Art, 1825-1925 exhibit and other collections.
